Zochrot

Visitor center

The Visitor Center offers a variety of materials and methods for learning more about the Nakba independently, housing hundreds of books, journals, academic papers, maps, films, photographs, pieces of artwork, and written and audio testimonies of Palestinian survivors of the Nakba, as well as of Jews who experienced the war in different ways. The center also hosts Zochrot's monthly lecture series, as well as seminars and workshops, film screenings, and more. Through the Center, Zochrot seeks to help interested visitors learn and develop independent perspectives about the different layers of existence here. The Center also provides research assistance to students, scholars, artists, architects, and indeed anyone seeking new approaches to understanding the Nakba. Some of the works created with Zochrot’s help have been publish or are available for view at the Center.

The Visitor Center is located at 61 Ibn Gvirol St. (corner of Maneh St), Apt. 2, Tel Aviv. The center is open for drop-in visits on Mondays and Thursdays from 12:00 to 17:00, or during business hours by appointment: Tel. 03-695-3154 / e-mail information@zochrot.org.
