Yesterday activists of the radical left organization “Zochrot” marked 59 years since the Deir Yassin massacre, in a procession that took place adjacent to the houses that remain from the village in the Givat Shaul neighborhood in Jerusalem. Over 100 Palestinian residents of the village were killed in the massacre, which was carried out by Etzel and Lehi forces. For the first time a refugee of the village, who was among those who buried the victims, took part in the memorial ceremony.
