Zochrot invites the public to take part in a learning tour of the destroyed Palestinian village al-Qabu

(Located south west to Jerusalem on road no. 375)


Date: Saturday, January 22nd, 2010
The tour will begin at the village site at 11:00 am, and end at about 14:00.

Pick up points along the way - by prior confirmation – Latrun junction, Harel/ Kastel junction, Ein Karem square, Zur Hadassah junction

We will meet refugees of al-Qabuw and hear the story of the village and its Nakba, post signs to commemorate the village and distribute "Remembering al-Qabuw ", a booklet prepared for the occasion.

Transportation will leave the Arlozorov train station in Tel Aviv at 9:00 am
(we'll be back in Tel Aviv at about 16:00)

Participants arriving independently will meet at the gas station Ya'ar Bitar on road 375 after the entrance to Mevo Bitar
