Zochrot invites you to take part in a series of meetings on issues related to the Nakba and to the responsibility for various ethnic and class groups in Israeli society for the injustices of the ongoing Nakba. The course will focus on the different roles played by Mizrahi and Ashkenazi Jews in the Nakba and their reasons. These include the European-Zionist ideology and related colonial practices, the racial-class stratification within Jewish society, and the unequal “division of the spoils” within the latter group.
