In this tour we will learn some of the history of Bir al-Saba’, founded in 1901. We will learn about its occupation in October 1948, an occupation that turned it into an Israeli town. We will walk among houses whose Palestinian owners were displaced at the start of the Nakba to become refugees. The state of Israel still prohibits their return.

We will look at the architecture, learn of the life that was one here and were cut short, learn of former schools and government buildings from ottoman and British times.
