Each year on Nakba Day Zochrot participates in the March of Return organized by the Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Internally Displaced (ADRID). This tradition began in 1998 with thousands of participants, and over the years a number of Jewish organizations have also joined the annual march. Marchers demand their right as refugees to return to their homes. The participation of Jewish organizations and speakers in the march, Zochrot among them, is an important act that represents our identification and our attempt to strengthen their call.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2006, Zochrot joined the 9th annual Procession of Return organized by ADRID, the Association for the Defense of the Rights of Internally Displaced Palestinians. This year the procession was to the village of Umm a-Zinat, and about 2,500 people took part, among them hundreds of Jews. Signs were posted to designate the village school, the cemetery, and the entryway to the village.
