The exhibition “Towards Return of Palestinian Refugees” opened about three months ago at the Zochrot Gallery. During these three months we held symposia, workshops, and study groups dealing with the topic of the exhibition from various angles. We explored a variety of political possibilities, one of which was the return of refugees; we heard Palestinian wo/men speaking about various aspects of the issue and about the intra-Palestinian discourse of return; we examined the role of language and its ability or inability to establish a new space.
In the fifth and last symposium, the discussion will center on questions of planning. Professional experts in the field of architecture and planning will respond to the projects presented at the exhibition, to the exhibition as a whole, and to planning policy that takes into account the return of Palestinian refugees and displaced persons.
