Jarrar’s multiple-awarded documentary film (70 min, 2013), accompanies several Palestinians in the West Bank as they try to bypass the Separation Wall to find work, pray and meet their loved ones. The film Infilitrators exposes the adventurism of various attempts to find a rift in the wall.
The screening will be preceded by Dr. Munir Nuseibah’s short lecture about Israel’s consistent policy of displacement of the Palestinian Refugees and the Internally Displaced persons.
Dr Munir Nuseibah is a human rights lawyer, and academic based in Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, Palestine, he is also a board member at Zochrot.
Infiltrators was part of the annual 48 mm international film festival, organized by Zochrot. The films shown in the recent festival focus on refugeehood in the West Bank and Gaza, the internally displaced persons within the 1948 borders, and the Palestinian refugees in the diaspora. In that, they not only shed light on historical and contemporary events, but also encourage practical thinking on the return of Palestinian refugees, allowing us to reflect on the space in which we live.
