The NGO Zochrot suggests practical solutions for the return of refugees in order to implant the idea within the Israeli public and to avoid having it disregarded as a result of the Palestinian U.N. statehood bid.

Video prepared especially for the exhibition "Towards the return of Palestinians refugees" presented at the gallery of Zochrot in September 2011. In the video, filmed in the refugee camp of Balata in Nablus, Yaffa refugees speak of Return to the city from which they had been expelled in 1948.

This video describes a protest action against the Nakba Law which took place in Tel Aviv on the eve of Israeli Independence Day, 9 May 2011. The protest was held under the heading: "The Nakba Law: In German it Sounds Worse," and was aimed at spurring discussion about this dangerous, anti-democratic law.

The Nakba of Haifa - Zochrot tour of the city of Haifa. The tour was a part of a series of activities taking place this year (2011) to commemorate 250 years since the establishment of new Haifa by the Palestinian ruler Daher al-Omar.

"On the day Yafa`s refugees return" - a film produced by Zochrot. The film was presented in Rothschild st. 65 gallery (in April 2010) as part of the exhibition "The First Boulevard", which focused on the History and memory of the street that is called today "Jerusalem Boulevard" (in Hebrew "Sderot Yerushala'im"), a main street in nowadays Tel aviv-Jafa.

The "Nakba 60" Coalition is comprised of Israeli (New Profile, Bat Shalom, Zochrot) and Palestinian organizations (BADIL and the Refugee Camps' Youth Movements Association), who work together to commemorate the 60 years to the Nakba (May 2008). The Israeli organizations in the coalition have set themselves as a goal to create a process of deepening awareness and recognition of the Nakba among Israeli public.

Abu Nijm supported Zochrot sine it earliest days. His ongoing opposition to the occupation and to the Nakba is a source of inspiration to remember and to do for the Right of Return.

Zochrot organization, together with Mosaic home, organized a study tour of Ramle, in order to tell the history of the place and its inhabitants. The initiative to go on a tour resulted from the racist reaction of Yoel Lavi - Mayor of Ramle - to a request by residents of the city, to name the streets in the Arab neighborhoods, names from Arab history and culture. The tour was stopped violently by the police, which confiscated the street signs in Arabic, but not before arresting three of the participants of the tour. (15.1.2007)
